yeh dude!
i enthusiastically second crusty's motion to get a regular jam on! downhill is freakin awesome and with a crew would be double awesome. :D
werty, you might have to run a mini clinic, or at least show us how its done. I dig the point and shoot technique, but i wanna learn how to take corners at warp speed with some kinda style.(style being everything)

No wonder i never seen him, he was already gone.

De olde crusty Samba is right these decks are easily available and cheap last while depending how you ride and what you want.

Longboard with Randells 180 trucks and nice 76mm wheels will do speeds <80 but will carve best
20 to 40. If you want safely to go faster the drop deck boards put you 20 mm off the ground and the whole story changes .
If you can snowboard you will have no probs
Just get gloves sliders, more support the better, these are your only brakes save ya life

Hey Werty....when you say " the drop down deck boards changes the whole story",how is this so? lower centre of gravity..ummm

Trying to get my head around all this new stuff without never having tried it is always a bit of an ask. Any direction will help!!

simple Zig:

go to www.silverfishlongboarding.com and read the general forums for days. Heaps of noob questions and answers. You'll know you
know enough when you can explain the difference between a top-mount, a drop-through and a drop deck or which BigZigs are best. Its an involved sport to say the least.

Its all about center of gravity, and what you think feels best. Truth be told - most decent branded longboards will handle speeds that you
and I will never reach.

look up the websites for brands like Landyachtz, Loaded, Kebbek, Rayne and Insect. You'll soon get the point.

The drop decks are easily the most comfortable and predictable, . When you ride them you can really sense the front truck, i'll have to explain it to you in person too much info me no typee good Few of the silverfish guys are hitting some hills monday night with a vast array of different weapons to check out. EH

A secret location in Karrinyup area provided by Hotslide.

5(?) streets ( 4 corners), all down hill and linked up by 90* corners. fucking awesome but blind corners made us catious about cars.

We have to hit it next weekend with a group. very friendy locals. Could do with a spotter or two on some of the corners for maximum enjoyment

Longest continuous ride I have had so far. woot !!

oh that sounds fun, forecast for the weekend doesn't look too hot but keep me posted in case.

Found a nice long beach cycle path with some sweeping bends at the weekend but didn't have my board. All th way up in Joondalup too which is a bugger.
